Perched on a hill with a breathtaking unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Fundy,the cottage has two decks facing the water and a wall of windows on both floors to maximize the measemerizing views. This is a perfect secluded retreat for artist, writers, birdwatchers, naturalists,or anyone seeking calming beautiful sanctuary. Tranquil and senic,Rumphius Cottage is a place to sooth your heart.
Hike the trails of nearby Quoddy Head State Park to the easternmost tip of the U.S. Canoe or sea- kayak with the comorants, seals, and the occasional eagle as your companions. Travel the short distance to Campbello Island,Canada via the Roosvelt International Bridge to visit the Roosevelt Summer Cottage. And on the way home, stop at one of the many local restaurants for a delicious,fresh out of the wate lobster dinner with all the trimmings.

RENTAL TERMS AND DEPOSITS

Rentals are normally for one week,Sunday thru Sunday. Four day weekends (Thursday thru Sunday) can be obtained if available. Weekly rental rates are $800 in season and holidays and $600 off season.
A $500 deposit is required to confirm booking. The additional rent plus a $250 damage deposit is required 2 weeks prior to arrival.
