Beautifully refurbished and with no neighbours, it offers style, space, comfort and complete privacy. The stunning triple-aspect sitting room features a huge picture window at one end and an open fire at the other, with plenty of big comfy sofas so you can enjoy the view whatever the weather. A smaller second sitting room also has a working fireplace, desk and fabulous views. There are lots of books and games too. Outside are 5 acres of land with an abundance of wildlife, and lawned garden areas. A big, sunny courtyard is a great place to enjoy a barbecue.

Hi, my name is Candy Goad. My husband Andrew and I live in the beautiful English Lake District, and run three large holiday cottages in stunning locations in the Lakes.
Our children are grown-up so it's just the two of us
(and two dogs, who we can leave with friends if an exchange does not allow them), and when we're not running the holiday cottage business, we both have other jobs - me as a freelance copywriter working with London agencies, and Andrew as a landscaper. We love reading, walking, painting - and France! |
