Our small town is situated in the middle of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia (www.yorke.sa.gov.au/ postcards) - all these photos are within 20 mins drive. Mediterranean climate, beautiful beaches: Minlaton is a service centre for wheat/ barley/ sheep farms. We are 2 hours from Adelaide, the closest state capital to ULURU/ ALICE SPRINGS also the BAROSSA VALLEY (wine:Jacobs Creek etc). Our house is in the main street, so a two-minute walk to the supermarket,P.O, pub etc. We have ONE CAR & a 4WD (for the beach): & a 4-berth CARAVAN we could move to wherever you're interested in a 'holiday away' from our place (including Kangaroo Island or Adelaide.
The property was originally the town butcher shop plus residence: after our 'big trip' next year we plan to renovate and open a gallery in the shop section. The house is about 90 years old made of local limestone with wide verandahs all round, it's LARGE and comfy. PHOTOS ON REQUEST !!
We're both in our early 50's - Heather is an Interior Decorator & Ashley is a sculptor: we both have two grown kids not now living at home.

We only purchased this property (HOUSE and shop) and moved from the city in Dec 03, and before we set up a retail business we want to travel extensively in the UK and Europe and already have 6 swaps, from Nth Ireland to Malta !!
We live in the converted shop-the HOUSE on offer(next door)is rented til 24 Dec 05.
When we return from Europe in Dec. we'll furnish the HOUSE ready for our 'swappees' in 2006/07 - so far, Jan., March, July, November and early December 06, and March 07 have been reserved.
