Come and enjoy Rest and relaxation in a charming village with endless views located on the border with Germany. The Spa Leisure centre, The Fontana Bronenbad,is located in Nieuweschans,with affordable rates for total health care.
Bicycle paths abound and the Nature Reserve of the Eems River delta is nearby for birdwatching enthusiasts(and there must be some out there!).
The train,a 5 minute walk,will take you to the rest of The Netherlands or hop on the German train and be in Leer or any German city. Cycle 3.2 klm and do your shopping in a German town ,if you prefer.
The house is a simple 'workers house',3 up/ 2 down,located ona dyke with very special views of the surrounding fields.Small Dutch villages host many artists and craftspeople . The harbor oF Delfzijl is a 33 minute drive and offers many attractions. The capitol city of Groningen is a famous 'student' city and has lovely well-preserved monuments,architecture and Churches.
You may bring your pets: it is quite a 'doggy' area,and the mud room is easy to come in and out of the garden. Your Bikes can also be secured in an easy-access lock up(the shed).So, Bikes, pets and Nature lovers who also enjoy going to the Spa would like this place.Ciao for now................. |
