 our flat which is in the Born ( trendy old part of the city )opposite the chocolate museum surrounded by tree-shaded cafes and restaurants. It is very close to the ciutadella Park and only 15 minute walk to Barcelona beaches. The Picasso Museum is just round the corner nearby lots of Art galleries and boutiques.
It is not a big a flat but quite spacious as Tom has made it into a loft space but with nice wood and glass doors creating separate spaces, which reflects interesting views.

 Where we live there are a variety or great bars and restaurants. We literally live at the bottom of a mountain (Mont Juic) with a great garden to take walks nearby, a free contemporary museum just a few blocks away, and plenty of other places like the Olympic village. Everything else you could want to do or see in Barcelona is walkable or easily accessible by metro. La Ramblas is a 15 min walk or 3 min metro. The beach is 5 min away by metro. And great daytrips like Gerona or Costa
