Our apartment is situated 100km north of Sydney (Australia) on the Pacific coast. We would like to exchange this 2 bedrooms unit for someplace to live for a short period in Europe, the USA or Canada between July and October 2003. Who we are: Nicole and Gerard both English and French speaking aged in their 50's. We are retired and would like to travel. We are very well behaved, discrete and reliable. We ask that anyone considering exchanging places with us be so too. The apartment is a two bedrooms unit of about 120 square meters. The kitchen is modern with a 200L fridge/freezer, electric range, oven, and a micro-wave. The laundry contains washing machine and dryer. The living room opening on a large balcony (TV, VCR, Stereo unit, bookshelves with French, English books), 2 bathrooms with bath, shower, 2 bedrooms (one with queen size bed, the other is used as a study), a large balcony above the unit swimming pool with outdoor table and chairs. The unit is situated on the first floor, it has good natural light, recent paint, new carpet. It's an eight-story building with four apartments on each floor. It has an elevator, security door and a heated swimming pool. It's ideal for a couple. The building is situated in the heart of The Entrance, a block away from the main shopping center and the movie theatre. There are also numerous restaurants, pubs and clubs in the town. At a walking distance you will find three ocean beaches: The Entrance, Blue bay and Towoon bay, a 50m rock pool, a 15km bicycle path along Tuggerah lake, and the lake reserve with electrical barbecues. For the walking enthusiast you could walk the 15km North Entrance ocean beach or the tracks of Wyrrabalong National Park. The Entrance is a well known family-oriented resort town located where the ocean meets the lake. It is situated a 100km from Sydney, easily accessible by the Newcastle freeway (about 1h30 from Sydney international airport). It is in the Central coast, a region containing a vast array of natural scenery: long, deserted ocean beaches, vast inland lakes, coastal national parks.
