SPECTACULAR BEACHSIDE SYDNEY SEEKING NYC FOR UP TO 6 MONTHS 2004. Other offers welcomed. THE HOUSE Our 2/3 bedroom house is positioned on a hill overlooking one of the prettiest beaches in Sydney. It is centrally heated, air-conditioned and completely renovated and re-furnished in 2001. Most of the rooms have full length beach views. Underneath the house is a 1BR apartment that is leased permanently to a quiet helpful couple. The house is not suitable for children or smokers. We can exchange cars and computer/internet access. The house is centrally heated & airconditioned. It will sleep 4 adults in comfort. THE AREA Whale Beach is situated on the Pittwater Peninsular, 35km north of the Opera House. This is an exclusive beachside area, well served by buses to the city and with a lovely local shopping village, Avalon. We have movie theatres, banks, cafes, boutiques, galleries, bakeries and supermarkets. All this is 5 minutes by car from the house. Close by are golf courses, tennis courts, fishing, sailing and hiking in the adjacent National Park. THE DESTINATIONS. We are keen to consider offers from all destinations. London, New York and Paris especially. THE PEOPLE We are a 50ish couple (anaesthetist & academic) with no children. We have done many wonderful exchanges. THE DATES We want to be travelling between April-October each year. In Australia, May-August is the peak season for most of the major tourist sites (Uluru, The Barrier Reef, Kakadu National Park, Broome, The Kimberley Ranges etc). In Sydney, temperatures average 18C. We usually have mild winters with about 6 hours of sunshine/day. Exact dates and periods are negotiable. Up to 12 months is also possible.
